Spoke Design LLC is building an integrated Growth practice that helps clients understand the 'why' and 'what should happen next' in their marketing strategies. The Senior Growth Strategist will lead the strategy, execution, optimization, analytics, and reporting for various marketing channels, focusing primarily on paid search while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop integrated growth strategies spanning paid search, SEO/GEO, email marketing, and analytics
- Understand each client's business, objectives, competitive landscape, and customer journey
- Translate business goals into measurable marketing initiatives
- Continuously identify new opportunities to improve client performance and expand our role as a strategic partner
- Stay current with changes across search, AI, analytics, and marketing technology, helping clients focus on what matters rather than chasing every trend
- Own strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other paid media platforms where appropriate
- Manage budgets, bidding strategies, campaign structures, audience targeting, and creative testing
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend thoughtful optimizations based on business outcomes—not simply platform metrics
- Develop testing roadmaps while maintaining disciplined optimization practices
- Develop and execute technical, on-page, and content-driven SEO strategies
- Partner with developers and designers to improve search visibility and user experience
- Guide clients through the evolving landscape of AI-powered search and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
- Ensure paid and organic strategies complement one another rather than operate independently
- Develop lifecycle and campaign strategies that support broader growth initiatives
- Build content calendars aligned with paid, organic, and seasonal marketing efforts
- Analyze engagement and conversion data to improve campaign effectiveness
- Continuously refine messaging using approved brand language and customer insights
- Monitor client performance across all owned channels
- Develop reporting that explains not only what happened, but why it happened and what should happen next
- Identify meaningful trends, opportunities, and risks before clients ask
- Help clients understand ROI while recognizing that some strategic initiatives deliver longer-term value beyond immediate revenue
- Serve as the primary growth strategist within assigned client relationships
- Lead meetings, present recommendations, and communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently
- Collaborate closely with agency leadership on significant strategic or commercial decisions
- Work proactively with internal teams to ensure clients receive thoughtful, integrated solutions
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in paid search, performance marketing, or growth strategy, preferably in an agency environment
- Significant hands-on experience managing Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, and multi-channel paid media campaigns
- Strong working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, technical SEO, content strategy, and analytics
- Experience developing and executing email marketing campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to communicate directly with clients and build trusted relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect marketing performance to business outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, Merchant Center, Looker Studio, and leading email marketing platforms is highly desirable
