[Remote] Senior Data Engineer/Consultant (DBT & Fivetran)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nasscomm is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines and modern data solutions. The role involves transforming SQL and ETL workloads into dbt models and supporting data migration to a cloud-based platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines and modern data solutions
• Transforming complex SQL and ETL workloads into dbt models
• Supporting the migration of data assets from Greenplum to a modern cloud-based data platform
• Work closely with technical leads, data architects, business analysts, and client stakeholders to deliver high quality, production ready data solutions
• Collaborating across technical and business teams
• Troubleshooting complex data challenges
• Driving best practices for scalable and efficient data engineering solutions

Skills

• Expert level SQL skills
• Hands on experience with dbt and Fivetran
• Strong background in data warehouse modernization and migration projects
• Experience with Snowflake (highly preferred)
