As a Senior Account Executive for their Intelligent Transportation Systems Division, you will lead regional revenue efforts by building government relationships and delivering innovative solutions to modernize city infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Own the Region: You’ll develop the strategic roadmap to hit revenue goals and expand Miovision’s presence across California by developing and executing a comprehensive regional strategic plan; penetrating complex accounts requiring long-term, multi-phased planning. You'll manage full cycle sales - from prospecting to closing
- Strategic Opportunity Management: You’ll lead the charge on joint RFP responses and navigate complex opportunities to shape specifications toward Miovision’s solutions
- Executive Influence: You will cultivate a broad network of influence across the traffic ecosystem, engaging with executive-level buying committees, City Departments, Engineering Firms, Academic experts, and more to build consensus and guide accounts through the complex public-sector journey to drive long-term adoption
- Collaborate to Win: Lead cross-functional “deal teams” (including Public Safety, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering), serving as a definitive internal thought leader to help you close new business and expand existing accounts
- Advise and Educate: Become the go-to subject matter expert on ITS solutions, helping city leaders understand the future of "Intelligent Mobility," articulating technical value propositions and influencing product roadmaps based on market feedback
- Market Insight and Positioning: Monitor shifting industry trends, competitor movements, and technical evolutions to effectively differentiate the Miovision value proposition within the ITS landscape
- Strategic Forecasting and Growth: Develop comprehensive sales action plans and rigorous monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting models to ensure predictable pipeline growth and regional scale
- Maintain Data Integrity: Use Salesforce with discipline to provide leadership with accurate forecasts and clear visibility into your pipeline
- Compliance: Navigate the regulatory framework and Approved Products List process to ensure ability to sell into all segments of the market
- Travel: You'll travel up to 40% of the time to meet with clients and prospects, and represent Miovision at trade shows, conferences, etc
Skills
- GovTech Experience: You have a track record of success selling technology to government agencies. You understand the long cycles, the RFP process, and the 'public good' mindset
- Domain Expertise: You bring a deep-rooted understanding of the Mobility or ITS landscape, ideally backed by a network of existing relationships with key agencies and engineering consultants in California
- Ecosystem and Channel Synergy: You bring experience working with channel partners, distributors, consultants and other key players in the traffic ecosystem. You understand how to leverage these relationships to amplify your reach and navigate local procurement hurdles
- Strategic Acumen: You don't just wait for leads; you build territory plans and manage a complex pipeline (Salesforce or similar CRM mastery is a must)
- Entrepreneurial Autonomy: You have the drive to operate independently and own your results, but you recognize that winning in this space is a team sport. You know exactly when to pull in your cross-functional teams to close complex deals
- Strategic Selling and Influence: You are comfortable handling high-stakes communication, and capable of building trust with senior city officials and engineering executives alike. You don't just sell features; you influence long-term infrastructure strategy to transition traditional agencies to modern, multimodal tools
- Hybrid Technology Fluency: You are equally comfortable navigating the nuances of software systems and hardware-integrated deployments and you can effectively communicate the value of both
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the executive presence to deliver high-impact presentations. Proven ability to translate complex infrastructure solutions into compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Travel: You're ready to get out into the field, meet customers, and represent us at major trade shows up to 40% (must be able to travel freely between the USA and Canada and hold a valid passport)
- Location: You must be located in the state of California to be eligible for this position
