Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Betco Corporation is a company focused on environmental technologies, and they are seeking a Sales Manager for the LATAM region. The role involves remote-based sales management, leveraging technical skills in bioaugmentation for water and wastewater treatment to secure new accounts and grow existing ones.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for growth and maintenance of existing and new accounts for the WET group
- Responsible for pre-qualifying sales leads from advertisement, trade shows, and on-line research tools, then performing the appropriate follow up
- Works closely with Customer Service to respond to inquiries and provide technical guidance
- Ability to technically troubleshoot environmental system issues and make product recommendations for existing and potential customers
- Responsible for maintaining CRM as it relates to contact information and call history for reporting and tracking of customer contact
- Responsible for maintaining and documenting a robust and accurate sales pipeline
- Customer care and new customer orientation
- Manages and mediates production/logistics/distribution issues
- Works collaboratively with team members on the custom fermentation side of the business
- Stays current with internal systems, processes, products, promotions and competitive trends
- Overnight travel estimated at 40-50%
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or other related technical disciplines
- 10 years' experience in a sales or sales support capacity within the water or wastewater treatment field and/or related environmental industries
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent technical acumen
- Fully computer literate
- MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
- Bilingual skills, fluent in English and Spanish is a must
- Proficient in Portuguese is a plus
