Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer to support a company focused on delivering a secure, scalable assessment administration platform for testing, certification, and evaluation programs. This role will involve serving as the primary technical expert during the pre-sales process and partnering closely with Sales and Product teams to demonstrate how the platform addresses complex customer challenges.
Responsibilities
- Serving as a technical subject matter expert on the assessment administration platform, including features, workflows, and integrations
- Partnering with Sales and Account Management teams throughout the pre‑sales lifecycle to support technical evaluations
- Designing, configuring, and delivering customized product demonstrations aligned to customer use cases
- Leading technical discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, integration needs, security requirements, and operational challenges
- Supporting RFP responses, security questionnaires, and technical documentation while collaborating with Product and Customer Success teams
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar customer‑facing technical role
- Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud‑based applications, APIs, integrations, and SSO technologies
- Strong presentation, demo delivery, customer discovery, and technical communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance
