They are currently seeking a talented and self-motivated Remote Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support their business operations and enhance customer service.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications that support our core business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and operations, to analyse requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Participate fully in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to deployment and support
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure systems are well-understood and maintainable
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose new solutions to enhance our software portfolio
Skills
- Proven experience working as a Software Engineer in a professional environment
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript
- Solid experience with relational and non-relational database technologies
- A comprehensive understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is considered an advantage
