Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Entegee is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer with experience in the mining, minerals, and metals industry. The role involves leading process engineering projects, developing process deliverables, and collaborating with teams to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead process engineering and design for mineral processing and hydrometallurgical projects
- Develop and review process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, Heat & Material Balances, equipment sizing, and technical reports
- Perform process simulations using software such as METSIM, Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, Pipe-FLO, or similar
- Support engineering studies, equipment selection, design reviews, procurement, commissioning, and process optimization
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (ABET accredited)
- 5+ years of chemical/process engineering experience in the mining, minerals, and metals industry
- Experience with process simulation software and industrial process design
- Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
