Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Microsoft is seeking a skilled and motivated Recruiter to join their team. In this contract role, you will identify, engage, and hire top talent to meet current and future hiring needs, partnering closely with hiring managers to deliver a seamless candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
- Partner with the Talent Sourcing Team and source qualified candidates using a variety of channels including databases, networking, internet tools, cold outreach, media, and employee referrals
- Conduct interviews to assess candidates' experience, skills, and cultural fit
- Review resumes based on required qualifications and conduct phone screens to recommend applicants to hiring managers
- Consult with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to align on candidate profiles and hiring decisions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employment records and applicant tracking data
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing timely updates and feedback
- Promote the organization's culture, values, and career opportunities to prospective candidates
Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in a recruiting or customer service role
- 2–4 years of experience recruiting for corporate functions or General & Administrative (G&A) roles
- Experience reviewing resumes based on required qualifications and conducting phone screens to recommend applicants to hiring managers
- Experience consulting with hiring managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience recruiting for executive administration and business administration roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective negotiation, interpersonal, and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with employment laws and hiring best practices
- Understanding of recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
- Experience supporting or recruiting for roles within Human Resources, Finance, Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA), Business Development, Strategy & Ventures, Business Operations, or Engineering
