Key Objectives
• Maintain high editorial standards by reviewing and refining all written content.
• Ensure brand voice consistency across marketing materials, product descriptions, and digital content.
• Collaborate with content creators to deliver polished and error-free communications.
Responsibilities
• Proofread and edit a variety of content including website copy, social media posts, product descriptions, press releases, and internal documents.
• Identify and correct grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
• Verify factual accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with writers, marketers, and designers to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve content quality and style.
Qualifications & Skills
• Proven experience as a proofreader, editor, or similar role, preferably within the cosmetics or beauty industry.
• Exceptional command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for consistency.
• Familiarity with style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago Manual of Style) and brand voice adaptation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with editing tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Grammarly).
