They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale IT Operations & Maintenance program, ensuring high-quality service delivery and managing technical teams in a mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution of the O&M program, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and performance objectives
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Provide weekly and monthly status reporting on progress, risks, issues, and deliverables
- Oversee application operations, maintenance, and enhancements
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests
- Monitor system performance and availability
- Manage cross-functional teams including developers, DBAs, and support staff
- Define roles and responsibilities across the team
- Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders
- Lead regular meetings for status updates and planning
- Coordinate releases, patches, and enhancements
- Manage change control processes
- Identify and manage risks and dependencies
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards
Skills
- 8+ years of experience in IT project or program management
- Experience managing application O&M or production support programs
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/DevOps practices
- Experience in federal or regulated environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- PMP or Scrum certification
