Job description: Job Summary (List Format) Remote Payroll Specialist Check Processing & Distribution- Responsible for daily printing, preparation, and mailing of physical payroll checks.
- Ensures timely and secure distribution of checks via UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
- Maintains accurate logs and records of all outgoing payments and tracking details.
- Collaborates with internal payroll, HR, and finance teams to confirm check accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Handles sensitive employee and payroll data with strict confidentiality and adherence to compliance standards.
- Reconciles check batches to prevent missing or duplicate payments.
- Responds promptly and professionally to check-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Manages inventory of check printing and mailing supplies.
- Supports audit processes and provides necessary documentation related to payroll distribution.
- Works independently in a remote setting, maintaining high organizational and accuracy standards.
- Must have reliable access to a secure home office setup, including a printer and mailing supplies.
- Regularly travels locally for daily mail drop-offs.
