The Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering
(IMSE) at West Virginia University (WVU) invites applications for
remote part-time adjunct instructor positions to support its
ongoing expansion and the strategic initiative of enriching its
online graduate education and research.
The candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas
are highly desirable:
• Industrial Engineering
• Engineering Management
• Occupational Safety and Health
• Safety Engineering
Qualifications :
Eligible candidates must hold an earned doctorate in
Industrial/Safety Engineering or a closely related discipline at
the time of appointment and must have the ability to:
• Advise/mentor online doctoral students.
• Teach and develop online asynchronous courses.
Candidates with BS and MS degrees in Industrial/Safety Engineering
or a closely related discipline from an accredited university with
significant (10+ years) experience will also be considered.
Candidates with active research experience in their area of
expertise, academic publications, and an interest in
advising/mentoring doctoral students are highly desirable.
