About the Role:
The Packaging Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement packaging solutions that meet our business requirements and exceed our customers' expectations. This includes collaborating with global teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring that packaging designs are functional, sustainable, and cost-effective. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging engineering, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement packaging solutions that meet business requirements and exceed customer expectations
- Collaborate with global teams, including packaging design, product management, marketing, and operations
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and implement packaging design standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Conduct design reviews, testing, and validation to ensure packaging solutions meet quality and performance standards
- Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in packaging engineering, project management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of packaging design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality
