Piper Companies is seeking an Oracle ERP Integration Consultant to support a large-scale Oracle ERP transformation initiative for a leading enterprise organization. This consultant will play a key role in designing and implementing integrations between Oracle E-Business Suite (R12), Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, and third-party tax and electronic invoicing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain integrations between Oracle E-Business Suite R12, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, and external enterprise applications
- Support the organization's migration from Oracle R12 to Oracle Fusion by developing scalable integration solutions across financial and operational systems
- Configure and enhance Oracle integration technologies, middleware, and connectors to ensure reliable data exchange between platforms
- Design and support electronic invoicing (e-Invoicing/OEI) capabilities while ensuring compliance with evolving business and regulatory requirements
- Integrate Oracle ERP environments with enterprise tax solutions such as Vertex, Avalara, Taxware, or comparable tax automation platforms
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues affecting Oracle ERP, cloud applications, and third-party systems
- Partner with Finance, Tax, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to understand business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Produce technical documentation including integration specifications, architecture diagrams, implementation procedures, and support documentation
- Evaluate new Oracle Fusion functionality and recommend enhancements that improve system performance and business processes
- Provide technical guidance and serve as the Oracle ERP integration subject matter expert throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Mentor internal technical teams by sharing Oracle integration knowledge, best practices, and implementation strategies
Skills
- 7+ years of experience implementing or supporting Oracle ERP solutions within enterprise environments
- Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12
- Experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
- Proven success integrating Oracle EBS R12 with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications
- Experience developing integrations between Oracle ERP platforms and third-party tax automation solutions
- Knowledge of Electronic Invoicing (OEI/e-Invoicing) processes and implementation methodologies
- Experience utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Middleware, or related Oracle integration technologies
- Strong understanding of Oracle Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Order Management
- Ability to diagnose complex integration issues involving APIs, middleware, and enterprise applications
- Excellent communication skills with experience consulting directly with business and technical stakeholders
- Ability to quickly adapt to new Oracle technologies, integration frameworks, and cloud capabilities
- Experience implementing or supporting Vertex, Avalara, Taxware, or similar enterprise tax platforms
- Previous experience deploying Oracle Electronic Invoicing (OEI) solutions
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle Applications certifications
- Experience supporting global tax compliance, indirect tax automation, or multinational ERP environments
- Previous consulting experience leading Oracle ERP modernization or cloud migration initiatives
