Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, and they are seeking an Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 (EBS) RICEF Technical Consultant. The role involves supporting application upgrades and performing end-to-end upgrade activities in Oracle EBS R12.
Responsibilities
- Supporting application upgrade Oracle EBS R12 version 12.2.6 to 12.2.14
- Perform end to end upgrade activities including technical design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Resolving upgrade issues
- Developing customizations using PLSQL
- Supporting product service requests
- Developing robust scripts to validate RICEF
- Noting lessons learnt
- Sharing domain knowledge with teammates
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- Location for this position is Anywhere in the USA. This position may require relocation and/or travel to client/project location
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to 'U.S. persons' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees
- Experience minimum one Oracle EBS 12.2.xx Upgrade - end-to-end implementation
- Demonstrated 3+ years of EBS R12 RICEF Technical, OAF, APEX, and AME Rules experience
- Strong understanding of catalogue customizations, assessing technical impact, remediate change impact to forms, reports, interfaces, workflows
- Experience in fine tuning jobs that deteriorates in performance upgrade
- Experience in testing integrations with external and internal systems
- Strong knowledge of system integrations and batch scheduling
- Strong understanding of software engineering practices and various business processes
- Strong understanding of EBS modules to support upgrade
- Experience supporting functional testing and defect fixes
- Experience resolving Oracle patch issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience and desire to work closely with business users and techno-functional team
