They are seeking a New Business Consultant to identify and qualify new prospects in the sector, conduct outreach, deliver sales presentations, and collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals and negotiate contracts.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and qualify new industrial and corporate prospects in the metals recycling sector
- Build and manage a strategic pipeline of opportunities
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings
- Deliver consultative sales presentations
- Tailor solutions that align with each client’s materials management and recycling needs
- Collaborate with internal operations, logistics, and finance teams to prepare proposals, pricing, and service plans
- Negotiate terms and support contract execution
- Monitor market trends
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Provide regular reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and results
Skills
- Proven skills in New Business Development and Sales, with a track record of building and closing a pipeline of B2B opportunities
- Strong Business acumen, including the ability to understand client operations, cost drivers, and value propositions in an industrial or services environment
- Excellent Communication skills, including professional written, verbal, and virtual presentation abilities for engaging stakeholders at multiple levels
- Experience in Management Consulting or consultative selling, with the ability to assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet or exceed targets and deadlines
- Proficiency with CRM systems and common productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Familiarity with the metals recycling, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial services sectors is preferred but not required
