The National Director of Sales & Marketing provides strategic leadership for all sales and marketing initiatives, responsible for developing and executing the organization's long-term strategy while driving occupancy and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Grand Living's national sales and marketing strategy
- Establish performance expectations that support occupancy growth, revenue goals, and brand recognition
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and new community openings
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to strengthen Grand Living's competitive position
- Lead sales strategy across all communities to maximize occupancy and census growth
- Develop and implement standardized sales processes that create a consistent prospect experience
- Ensure every prospect receives exceptional hospitality from the initial inquiry through move-in
- Monitor sales performance, conversion metrics, inquiry management, and occupancy trends
- Lead community sales audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Protect and strengthen the Grand Living brand across all communities and platforms
- Ensure marketing materials, digital presence, advertising, and community events consistently reflect Grand Living's luxury hospitality standards
- Collaborate with marketing partners to enhance lead generation and brand awareness
- Oversee public relations, reputation management, and community marketing initiatives
- Develop strategies to maximize occupancy, revenue, and return on marketing investment
- Partner with Operations to align sales performance with financial objectives
- Analyze key performance metrics and implement action plans to improve results
- Oversee annual sales and marketing budgets
- Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop corporate and community sales and marketing leaders
- Build leadership succession plans
- Develop onboarding, sales training, and leadership development programs
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, hospitality, and continuous improvement
- Champion exceptional hospitality throughout every stage of the prospect journey
- Utilize prospect/resident feedback and market insights to enhance the sales experience
- Ensure communities consistently deliver remarkable first impressions
- Promote personalized experiences that differentiate Grand Living from competitors
- Identify emerging sales strategies, marketing trends, and technology solutions
- Oversee CRM optimization, digital marketing initiatives, referral development, and lead management
- Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve conversion rates and customer engagement
- Lead sales and marketing strategies for new community openings
- Develop pre-opening marketing plans and occupancy strategies
- Support community launch activities, sales training, and operational readiness
Skills
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive sales and marketing leadership experience
- Minimum of five (5) years leading multi-site sales teams
- Demonstrated success driving occupancy growth and revenue across multiple locations

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field highly preferred
- Luxury hospitality, senior living, healthcare, real estate, or lifestyle brand experience preferred
