Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. itD is seeking a Marketing Events Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic partner marketing events while driving operational excellence across event programs. This role will manage end-to-end project execution for a flagship partner event and oversee event governance processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for strategic partner marketing events, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are met
- Coordinate event logistics, including vendor management, attendee registration, speaker support, and event communications
- Collaborate with cross-functional marketing, sales, and events teams to align event strategy, execution, and stakeholder communications
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking progress, identifying risks, and proactively driving issue resolution
- Manage event governance processes, including intake requests, planning workflows, operational communications, and accountability tracking
- Maintain event calendars, documentation, resource libraries, and process guides to ensure stakeholders have access to accurate, up-to-date information
- Prepare executive-ready project updates and status reports by translating complex, cross-functional information into clear communications
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
Skills
- Proven experience coordinating large-scale events, experiential marketing initiatives, or program management
- Experience managing multiple vendors and external partners to execute in-person events
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex project plans with multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including experience working with distributed or global teams
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Ability to identify risks proactively and develop solutions before issues impact project delivery
- Experience creating executive-level presentations, reports, and project updates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required
- Experience supporting partner marketing or field marketing programs
- Familiarity with event governance frameworks and operational intake processes
- Experience managing event calendars, documentation repositories, or knowledge management resources
- Experience developing project trackers and operational workflows from the ground up
- Experience supporting executive communications and stakeholder presentations
