Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Legal.io is a leading food delivery app seeking an experienced eDiscovery Project Manager to assist their team on a contract basis. The role involves supporting and expanding eDiscovery operations through project management, collaboration with legal and IT teams, and enhancing workflows.
Responsibilities
- Place and manage legal holds, ensuring accuracy in notices and execution
- Track and update ongoing cases, working closely with outside counsel, internal counsel, and vendors
- Draft legal hold policies, operational guidelines, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance eDiscovery workflows
- Support process documentation and cleanup efforts
- Utilize Relativity and DISCO to run searches when needed
- Support the data migration project (prior experience with Exterro is a plus for this project)
- Work with IT, security, and legal teams to build out eDiscovery operations
- Assist with employment investigations and litigation matters, taking ownership of assigned cases
- Maintain detailed case trackers and ensure day-to-day case progress
- Draft clear, concise communications to outside counsel and internal teams
- Utilize spreadsheets and formulas in Excel for tracking and analysis
- Leverage tools like Slack, Google Suite, Confluence, and JIRA for collaboration

- Experienced eDiscovery Generalist with a strong grasp of legal holds, case management, and vendor coordination
