Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize their cloud infrastructure. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high system availability while championing DevSecOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure leveraging AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Manage end-to-end cloud infrastructure, addressing real production issues and ensuring high system availability
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK)
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and monitor resource utilization across multiple cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Champion DevSecOps best practices, including container security, API protection, and secret management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive observability through logging, metrics, alerting, and rapid debugging strategies
Skills
- Have strong relevant experience in DevOps roles with expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Possess deep technical knowledge of DevSecOps toolkits, including Jenkins, Terraform, Git/Version control, and containerization technologies
- Have hands-on experience with large-scale, high-availability production environments and real-time issue resolution
- Have a solid understanding of DevOps automation tools (Terraform, GitHub Actions) and best practices for zero-downtime deployments
- Demonstrate proficiency in infrastructure security, including IAM, secrets management, network security, and API protection
