Responsibilities
- Engagement in complex litigation in both state and federal court, as well as in arbitration
- Handling litigation on behalf of health insurers, including defending payor-provider litigation
- Research and writing skills for litigation purposes
- Producing consistently good work product
- Balancing time between several matters while maintaining quality
Skills
- 3+ years' experience in complex litigation in both state and federal court, as well as in arbitration
- Driven team player with excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
- Proven skills in research
- Self-starter who can handle assignments with minimal supervision
- Strong communicator who can balance time between several matters while producing consistently good work product
- Valid license to practice law in any state
- Experience handling litigation on behalf of health insurers, including defending payor-provider litigation
- Experience with ERISA litigation
- Second chair experience with motion practice, depositions, written discovery, and trial/arbitration
- Candidates residing in Ohio
