Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal guidance on a wide range of issues, including contract law, employment law, compliance, HIPAA regulations, and fraud and abuse laws
- Assist in forming legal entities and negotiating terms between Management Services Organizations (MSOs) and medical entities
- Offer dedicated support to healthcare practitioners, ensuring their legal needs are met with the utmost care
Skills
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited Texas law school
- An active Texas license to practice law
- A proven background in healthcare law, particularly in compliance, employment, and contract law
- Relevant industry experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in negotiating complex agreements
- Strong ability to form and organize legal entities
- A commitment to excellent client service
- The ability to build strong client relationships
- The capability to work independently in a remote environment
