Job Overview:
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Health Data Analyst to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in enhancing patient care and optimizing operational efficiency by leveraging advanced data analytics. Your expertise will help us drive strategic decision-making, identify trends, and improve outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze diverse datasets, including patient, operational, and financial data, to extract actionable insights and inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Python, and R to communicate complex data insights effectively.
- Apply advanced statistical methods, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business development, to identify data needs and develop robust solutions for data collection and analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the data lifecycle, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
- Provide strategic recommendations to support patient care improvement, operational optimization, and business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in data analytics and healthcare, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role, with a focus on healthcare or claims analysis.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in OHSA claims and/or occupational claims analysis.
- RN or LPN preferred, with nursing experience or healthcare industry experience highly valued.
- Proficiency in Excel, Python, R, and Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
- Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and analysis of large, complex datasets.
- Familiarity with advanced analytical techniques, including statistical modeling and machine learning.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a self-starter.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
