Responsibilities
- Recruit passive candidates with the mentality to "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation" rather than sell a role
- Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
- Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios
- Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company
- Implement new processes and fine-tune standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer
- Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process
- Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, X-ray search/open web, and other sourcing tools to identify and engage top talent
- Evaluate candidate profiles
- Demonstrate understanding of finance function requirements and ability to assess candidates for financial analyst, accounting, and Senior finance positions
- Navigate the US finance talent market with knowledge of regional compensation trends, talent pools, and competitive landscape for finance roles
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in full-life cycle recruiting
- 3+ years of progressive recruiting or research experience in corporate or search firm environments
- Proven ability to curate market intelligence for saturated talent markets
- Demonstrated experience using contact management systems/applicant tracking systems for sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates
- Boolean and Advanced Search
- Create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche Non technical skills across LinkedIn, X-ray search/Open web, trade forums and specialized job boards
- Candidate Engagement for Passive Talent
- Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing and screening candidates in specialized non technical fields
- Articulate role-based value proposition to the candidate
- Build strategies and brainstorm to create efficient and creative sourcing solutions for stakeholders
- Track record of managing high-volume and niche hiring initiatives
- Proven success recruiting for finance positions including financial analysts, senior financial analysts, finance managers, Accounting or related roles
- Familiarity with finance certifications (CPA, CFA, CMA) and their relevance to various finance positions
- Market Intelligence: Understand the talent market to source the right talent from targeted organizations
