Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Micro is building a marketplace that allows users to access SaaS and AI tools without committing to subscriptions. They are seeking a Growth Intern to assist in content creation, community engagement, and user acquisition strategies across various online platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms
- Be comfortable appearing on camera and building a personal presence around Micro
- Engage with users in Reddit, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and other online communities
- Learn community-led growth and grassroots startup marketing strategies
- Research where potential users spend time online and identify growth opportunities
- Test messaging, content ideas, and growth experiments to understand what resonates
- Collaborate on referral programs, partnerships, and viral growth initiatives
- Track engagement, content performance, and user acquisition results
- Share user feedback and community insights to improve Micro's positioning and messaging
Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program (Marketing, Business, Communications, Entrepreneurship, or related field)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable on camera or willing to develop that skill
- Interest in startups, AI, SaaS, social media, content creation, or growth marketing
- Familiarity with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn, or X/Twitter
- Curious, creative, resourceful, and willing to experiment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
