They are seeking a senior marketing leader to own the go-to-market strategy for their telehealth business unit, serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership while establishing necessary processes and alignment to scale the business.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the go-to-market strategy for the telehealth business
- Serve as a senior marketing thought partner to executive leadership
- Build marketing processes, operating rhythms, and scalable frameworks
- Drive cross-functional alignment across marketing, product, growth, retention, eCommerce, and creative teams
- Influence stakeholders and lead initiatives within a matrixed organization, often without direct reporting authority
- Evaluate and optimize acquisition, conversion, retention, and lifecycle marketing strategies
- Improve the end-to-end patient journey and customer experience
- Ensure telehealth initiatives align with broader company objectives and customer ecosystems
- Provide strategic recommendations and challenge assumptions when needed
- Coordinate embedded marketing resources across multiple teams
- Partner with growth marketing, retention, and eCommerce leaders to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvements
Skills
- Direct telehealth marketing experience
- Experience building and executing GTM strategies for a telehealth or direct-to-consumer healthcare business
- Director-level or higher marketing leadership experience
- Strong understanding of acquisition, conversion, retention, lifecycle marketing, and customer journey optimization
- Experience operating successfully within matrixed organizations
- Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Experience establishing marketing processes, frameworks, and operating models
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect business unit objectives to broader company goals
- Hands-on expertise within at least one core marketing discipline; not solely a project/program manager
- Ability to evaluate channel strategy, challenge assumptions, and drive informed decision-making
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Deep understanding of consumer healthcare and patient experience
- Experience at organizations such as Hims & Hers, Ro, Thirty Madison, or similar DTC healthcare companies
- Experience with GLP-1, weight loss, wellness, or hormone therapy offerings
- Familiarity with telehealth patient acquisition funnels and patient journeys
- Experience managing significant marketing budgets and multi-channel marketing programs
- Prior people leadership experience
- Exposure to healthcare payments, FSA/HSA, healthcare benefits, or healthcare eCommerce ecosystems
- Familiarity with connecting telehealth initiatives into broader healthcare consumer platforms
- NYC or Westchester-based candidates preferred, though not required
