The Financial Analyst is a results-oriented finance role that reports to the Regional Controller, responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing metrics, and supporting budget compilations and forecasts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute monthly internal and external financial reporting
- Provide management and client ad-hoc reporting as required
- Maintain and analyze metric reporting for various operations
- Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data
- Assist in compiling and analyzing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Support driving robust loss prevention controls and ensuring the transparency and integrity of financial reporting
- Utilization of data from S/4 and various Corporate reporting to support raising the awareness of various deficiencies in the area of loss prevention
- Provide guidance and be a resource for high level projects and audits
- Attend Divisional and Regional meetings as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3 + years experience in finance environment, including reporting & analysis
- Proficient with Excel, Powerpoint and SAP
- Strong analytical, accounting and reporting skills
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Solid interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively across different departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
- Able to identify issues and prepare effective reports, briefing notes and presentation materials
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including up to 20% travel when necessary
