The part-time remote Financial Analyst will support the company in maintaining strong financial health and informed decision-making through financial data analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing financial data
- Preparing and reviewing financial reports
- Monitoring key performance indicators related to revenue streams and operational costs
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Supporting financial planning initiatives
- Ensuring the accuracy of financial statements
- Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders on financial insights
- Contributing to process improvements in financial reporting and analysis
Skills
- Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Planning, with the ability to support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Proficiency in working with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including creating and interpreting reports for leadership
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with experience in data analysis, variance analysis, and identifying financial trends
- Comfort with spreadsheets and financial software; strong Excel skills or equivalent tools
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management, especially in a remote, part-time setting
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a concise way
- Experience or interest in the creative, art, or design industries is a plus
