Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SMARTFOX is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide coverage for an employee on leave. This role focuses on financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and expense management, and is a fully remote, 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly expense accruals
- Generate monthly financial reports
- Prepare and review monthly variance analysis and commentary
- Prepare and review monthly expense forecasts
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and management reporting
- Handle ad hoc finance assignments and reporting requests
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience preparing financial reports, accruals, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficiency with basic computer applications
- Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and expense analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
