About the Role Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Remote Environmental Hygiene Auditor to join their fully remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and verifying the adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards in various settings through virtual assessments and documentation review. This is a remote-first position, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct thorough evaluations without on-site presence. Key Responsibilities Conduct remote audits of client facilities and operations to assess compliance with established hygiene and sanitation standards and protocols. Review submitted documentation, photos, videos, and other evidence to verify adherence to cleaning procedures and safety measures. Identify potential risks, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement through virtual assessments. Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, evidence, and actionable recommendations for corrective measures. Communicate audit results and recommendations clearly and professionally to clients and internal stakeholders via virtual meetings and written reports. Develop and maintain audit checklists and protocols based on current industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Stay up-to-date with evolving hygiene standards, sanitation technologies, and public health guidelines. Provide guidance and support to clients in implementing corrective actions identified during audits. Track the progress of client remediation efforts and conduct follow-up assessments as needed. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's auditing processes and methodologies. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sanitation, hygiene management, auditing, or a closely related field. Proven understanding of sanitation principles, cleaning protocols, and health regulations. Experience with audit procedures and report writing. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly. Proficiency in using digital tools for communication, documentation, and virtual collaboration (e.g., video conferencing, cloud-based platforms). Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high levels of accuracy in a remote environment. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying potential issues. Knowledge of various industry-specific sanitation standards is a plus. Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace conducive to remote work.
