They are looking for an Electrical Engineering Lead to enhance EE capabilities and manage projects while leading a diverse team and ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
Responsibilities
- Managing transformational capability efforts, including Electronic Board Design (EBD) projects across all Technology Readiness Levels (TRL)
- Tracing progress against milestones, budgets, and ROI targets; maintain project dashboards
- Running daily stand ups, stakeholder reviews, and coordinate onboarding of new use cases with all Business Areas
- Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, and domain experts
- Building a high performing, collaborative culture focused on results and continuous improvement
- Collaborating with cross-BA leadership providing progress updates while receiving feedback on challenges and areas of opportunity within the areas of Electrical Engineering across the enterprise
- Interfacing with the electrical engineering community (PCB designers, electrical engineers)
- Collaborating with external facing organizations including Lockheed Martin Ventures to ensure best of breed technologies are being considered
- Partnering with program and functional groups to integrate AI solutions into capital planning and production workflows
- Advising on required tools and process enhancements needed to drive business efficiency
- Spearheading EE capability transition including focus areas like model based schematics and wiring/cable harnesses
- Directing agent development priorities (build, scale, or sunset decisions)
- Validating that agent outputs meet engineering standards and align with enterprise AI architecture
- Ensuring consistent alignment with Lockheed Martin's broader AI strategy and compliance frameworks
Skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering or technical teams focused in the areas of electrical design (IPT Lead, Lead HW engineer)
- Expertise in one or more electrical engineering focus areas such as electronic board design, power/electronics, device level design and integration
- Experience with priority / business critical electrical engineering HW programs
- Familiarity with HW engineering standards
- Eligibility for Secret clearance
- Experience with AI/ML projects
- Experience with EDA tools such as Xpedition
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin's OneLM culture
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen; ability to translate high level goals into actionable plans
- Active Secret clearance or higher

- Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
- Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
- Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
- Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
