About the position
The Remote Dispatcher role at Velocare, a new business within Cardinal Health, focuses on the efficient dispatching of work orders to field personnel for the delivery of hospital-at-home programs. This position is integral to the operations of Velocare, ensuring that healthcare services are delivered effectively and promptly to customers. The dispatcher will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating communication between customers and field personnel while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create and dispatch work orders for field operations based on orders from channel partners. ,
- Ensure accuracy in work order creation and dispatching to field personnel. ,
- Serve as the primary communication link between customers and Velocare field personnel via various communication methods. ,
- Provide quality service to customers and field personnel, addressing inquiries and service issues promptly. ,
- Show empathy and compassion in all interactions with customers and field personnel. ,
- Problem-solve issues raised by customers or field personnel. ,
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement in service quality. ,
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in service delivery.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred. ,
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred. ,
- Effective customer service and communication skills. ,
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products. ,
- Healthcare experience is beneficial.
