They are seeking a Director of Finance to partner with the CFO and the Executive Leadership Team, overseeing financial planning and analysis, and providing strategic financial insights to support company growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead FP&A. Own company-wide forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, including scenario modeling to support strategic decisions and fundraising readiness
- Drive strategic decisions. Contribute financial perspective on major initiatives, including new product launches, pricing strategies, M&A evaluations, and geographic expansion
- Partner with the business. Serve as a strategic finance partner to executives and department leaders on growth, operational efficiency, and capital allocation
- Own performance metrics. Define and monitor the numbers that matter (gross margin, LTV/CAC, cash runway, NRR), and proactively surface risks and opportunities
- Run financial reporting. Own monthly and quarterly reporting packages for leadership and the board, with clear communication of results and drivers
- Scale systems and processes. Evaluate and improve our financial systems and workflows for automation, accuracy, and scalability as we grow
Skills
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience with a strong FP&A and strategic-finance foundation
- Deep command of financial statements, forecasting, and SaaS metrics
- Proven ability to build financial models and turn complex data into clear, actionable insight for senior leaders
- Curiosity and facility with using AI in FP&A
- Track record of partnering cross-functionally and influencing at every level
- Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to executives and the board
- High ownership and adaptability
- Experience at a high-growth SaaS or AI company
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team
- MBA, CFA, or CPA
