Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Triage Partners, LLC is a national leader in the telecommunications industry with over 20 years of experience. They are seeking a seasoned Director of Business Development to drive new business opportunities and leverage existing relationships in the telecommunications sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting ISPs, Electric Cooperatives, municipal broadband providers, utilities, and engineering firms
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across OSP construction, FTTH/FTTP deployments, engineering, staffing, managed services, splicing, drops, and I&R
- Leverage existing executive relationships to generate new revenue and long-term partnerships
- Lead the full sales cycle including prospecting, proposals, contract negotiations, and account growth
- Monitor BEAD, IIJA, RDOF, and state broadband funding opportunities and position Triage for upcoming projects
- Represent Triage at industry conferences, customer meetings, and trade events
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasts
Skills
- 5+ years of telecommunications business development and sales experience
- Established relationships with ISP, Co-Op, utility, municipal broadband, and telecom decision makers
- Strong understanding of FTTH/FTTP, OSP construction, Central Office, fiber deployment, splicing, and I&R
- Experience selling telecommunications construction, field services, engineering, and workforce solutions
- Proven history of developing new accounts and closing complex service agreements
- Willingness to travel up to 60%
