Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. They are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful completion of advanced technology facilities construction projects in the mission critical Data Center industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage the different aspects of projects: scope, schedule, budget, invoices, risk, quality, and resources
- Manage relationships with contractors, control space allocation, and maintain facility project budgets
- Manage relevant stakeholders, setting deadlines, communicating with project owners/company executives about the state of the project
- Ensure projects stay on track and on budget
- Prepare bid comparison, conduct bid clarifications, prepare recommendation. Prepare contract documentation for Procurement review
- Manage Project Design: Manage design services contractor. Conduct 30/60/90/IFC Design Reviews with Design firm and stakeholders. Manage any design change requests
- Liaison with appropriate city/state/federal authorities
- Coordinate Project Construction: Review Submission with General Contractor. Issue Purchase Request for General Contractor scope. Address any third-party small contracts required to support work
- Proactive Change Management: validate change orders including impacts to cost and schedule
- Review monthly invoices for approval
- Project Turnover & Close Out
- Assist with coordination of functional testing and commissioning
- Manage punch-list to closure and owner’s handover
- Coordinate project close out
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- 5-10 years supporting data center construction and commissioning teams nationwide, with proven responsibilities in project management required
- Experience both working directly for a GC or as a Client Representative preferred
- Computer proficient; MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with working knowledge of standard construction/project management software applications
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter
- Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required
- Diploma or Degree level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business preferred
- Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of the above-mentioned education
