The role involves producing various types of written materials while ensuring alignment with brand voice and SEO best practices.
Responsibilities
- Write long-form and short-form content including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, and web pages
- Produce copy for ads, email campaigns, and sales collateral
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, style, and tone
- Research keywords and incorporate SEO best practices into writing
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to optimize for search intent and ranking
- Update existing content to maintain freshness and relevance
- Conduct in-depth research on industry topics, competitors, and trends
- Interview subject matter experts (SMEs) for thought leadership content
- Translate complex topics into clear, engaging copy
- Proofread for grammar, clarity, and consistency
- Ensure deliverables are accurate, plagiarism-free, and error-free
- Maintain content calendars and deliver work on time
- Work with designers, marketers, and sales teams to align copy with visuals and campaigns
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback into revisions while maintaining brand integrity
- Monitor content performance using Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar tools
- Provide recommendations to improve engagement, conversions, and SEO rankings
Skills
- 2+ years professional writing or copywriting experience
- Portfolio of content across multiple formats (blogs, web copy, ads, collateral)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Strong research and editing skills
- Background writing for B2B SaaS, marketing agencies, or professional services
- Familiarity with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Clearscope)
- Experience writing conversion-focused copy (ads, landing pages, email sequences)
- Knowledge of content management systems (WordPress, HubSpot)
