Job Title: Manager, Commercialization Job DescriptionThe Manager, Commercialization is an individual contributor responsible for coordinating commercialization implementation and day-to-day program management for a portfolio of strategic initiatives. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align requirements, track progress against detailed plans, and ensure timely, high-quality execution of product launches, partnerships, and customer experience improvements. The Manager uses customer insights and data to support recommendations, identifies risks and issues early, and escalates or aligns decisions with leadership as needed. Responsibilities Coordinate commercialization activities and program management for key initiatives, including new or updated products, partnership launches, and customer experience improvements, to support smooth cross-functional implementation. Draft clear and comprehensive project briefs and supporting business case materials by gathering inputs from stakeholders and consolidating information into effective project kick-offs. Build and maintain detailed project timelines and workback plans in partnership with functional owners, ensuring that risks, dependencies, and milestones are clearly visible, tracked, and communicated. Manage multiple projects concurrently by organizing deliverables, facilitating regular status updates, and documenting decisions, risks, and action items for all stakeholders. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by understanding product timelines, proactively identifying blockers, and escalating issues to the appropriate owners to maintain momentum. Serve as the commercial point of contact for assigned initiatives in cross-functional forums, capturing requirements and communicating updates to relevant teams in a clear and timely manner. Use data and insights to support cross-functional discussions and recommendations, elevating trade-offs and decision points for leadership review when needed. Maintain a strong working understanding of business strategy and objectives, and ensure that project plans, messaging, and communications consistently align with agreed goals. Support competitive and market intelligence efforts by compiling inputs such as desk research and feedback from sales, medical, and clinical teams, and sharing synthesized findings with stakeholders. Own day-to-day project management for assigned initiatives, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into status, timelines, risks, and next steps at all times. Essential Skills5+ years of project management experience with increasing scope and responsibility in project management, commercial, and/or operations roles. Proven experience commercializing product launches, including planning and coordinating go-to-market activities. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time in a fast-paced environment. Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate cross-functional meetings and discussions. Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive alignment across cross-functional partners without direct authority. Highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and data-driven approach to planning and execution. Proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel and the broader Office suite. Experience using Confluence, monday.com, or related project management software to manage timelines, tasks, and documentation. Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience supporting go-to-market (GTM) strategies and commercialization activities for new products, partnerships, or customer experience initiatives. Background in Pharma, Biotech, or Healthcare is preferred but not required. Knowledge of the healthcare and genetic testing space is a plus. Experience developing project briefs, workback plans, and business case materials for leadership review. Ability to synthesize market, competitive, and internal insights from sources such as sales, medical, and clinical teams into clear recommendations. Comfort working closely with senior leadership and presenting project status, risks, and trade-offs. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Work EnvironmentThis is a fully remote role within a 5+ person team that collaborates virtually on a regular basis. The position is structured as a 9+ month contract to cover a maternity leave, offering the opportunity to work closely and directly with the VP of Commercialization & Planning. You will work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment that values data-driven decision-making, clear communication, and disciplined project management. The team relies on digital tools such as MS Office, Confluence, and monday.com to manage projects, timelines, and documentation. The work focuses on commercializing innovative healthcare solutions, including genetic testing and related services, in a setting that emphasizes patient-centered, precision medicine and the use of genomic and large-scale clinical information to inform diagnosis, guide treatment, and support drug discovery. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Stamford, CT. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
