They are seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Agent responsible for developing and maintaining a profitable book of commercial insurance business by identifying new prospects and closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, generate, and qualify new commercial insurance opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and community engagement
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects
- Conduct client needs assessments and risk evaluations
- Present tailored insurance proposals and coverage recommendations
- Negotiate terms and close new business opportunities
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual new business production goals
- Build long-term relationships with business clients
- Conduct coverage reviews and renewal consultations
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Partner with Account Managers to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing
- Maintain high client retention and satisfaction levels
Skills
- Active 2-20 Property & Casualty (P&C) license
- 2+ years of insurance sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency with CRM or agency management systems
- Commercial lines preferred
