They are seeking an experienced Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Consultant to support a Medicaid Prior Authorization program reviewing ABA therapy services. The consultant will apply expertise in ABA treatment models and Medicaid ABA policy when evaluating authorization requests.
Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in ABA treatment models, Medicaid ABA policy, medical necessity criteria, and nationally recognized ABA practice standards when evaluating authorization requests
- Review PA requests, ensure consistent application of Medicaid policy, and support appropriate service delivery
Skills
- Must reside in Alabama
- BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Psychiatry, or related field
- Active Alabama license as a Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Psychiatrist
- Experience with ABA treatment review, Medicaid policy, or utilization management
