DIMONT is a Dallas-based provider of insurance claims management and adjustment services supporting mortgage lenders, servicers, and investors across the United States. They are seeking a Claims Administrator to support hazard insurance claims by ensuring files are accurate and documentation is complete. The role involves managing claims efficiently and collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve outstanding items.
Responsibilities
- Review hazard claim files, damage reports, and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Research claim information and gather required documentation needed for submission
- Notify carriers of new claims and coordinate assignment to the appropriate carrier or adjuster
- Process claim acknowledgments and accurately enter claim data into internal systems
- Update policy and coverage information as changes occur
- Communicate with brokers, insurers, adjusters, and internal partners to resolve outstanding items
- Manage assigned claim queues while meeting productivity goals, service expectations, and turnaround times
- Partner closely with adjusters to ensure claims are complete, accurate, and submission-ready
- Identify missing information and proactively follow up to keep claims progressing
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to review documentation accurately
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across various systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn new technology platforms quickly
- 1+ year of experience in hazard insurance claims, property preservation, mortgage servicing, bank-owned properties, or a related insurance operations environment preferred
- Experience working in a high-volume, queue-based environment with productivity goals and turnaround expectations
