Gallagher is a global technology leader in security solutions, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand their presence in East USA. The role involves identifying and executing business development opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Build a strong sales pipeline and close new commercial business that supports revenue, margin, and growth objectives
- Develop and execute business development portfolio plans across targeted verticals in East USA
- Create strong end-user pull-through by building relationships with enterprise customers, channel partners, consultants, integrators, and key influencers
- Lead customer presentations and collaborate on technical solutions that address customer business problems
- Use customer insight, competitor awareness, and market surveillance to shape account plans, channel opportunities, and strategic recommendations
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and reporting to support territory visibility and performance
Skills
- 5+ years of sales experience in the security industry, with proven success in B2B business development and solution selling
- Experience creating opportunities across state and local government, education, healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, or similar enterprise verticals
- A track record of building pipeline, opening new accounts, managing complex relationships, and exceeding sales targets or quotas
- Strong channel management experience, including developing partner relationships and creating end-user pull-through
- Technical aptitude across physical and logical security solutions, with awareness of cloud, identity, infrastructure, and cybersecurity concepts
- Strong presentation, qualification, negotiation, closing, CRM, forecasting, and organizational skills
