Vaco by Highspring is a fast-growing, private equity-backed organization in the technology space seeking a Sr. Accountant to support a high-impact finance transformation during a period of rapid expansion. This role involves significant exposure to international accounting and the opportunity to build processes within a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Own key aspects of the month-end close, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Support audit-related activities, including inventory audits
- Assist in clean-up efforts and process improvements across accounting operations
- Partner closely with remote Controller (LATAM-based) and U.S. finance leadership
- Contribute to the implementation and optimization of accounting processes and procedures
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting (month-end close, GL, reconciliations)
- Fluency in Spanish and English (verbal and written; will be assessed)
- Hands-on experience with SAP
- Experience working within multinational or LATAM-focused accounting environments
- Working knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience in shared services or regional LATAM accounting teams
- Exposure to multi-entity and intercompany accounting
- CPA or equivalent (not required)
- Experience supporting audit processes
