Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CentraCare is a healthcare organization, and they are seeking an Application Systems Analyst Associate to join their Ambulatory Team. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining clinical systems while leveraging expertise in Epic and electronic health record software to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for knowledge of assigned system software
- Conducts regular day-to-day communication, reviews software, demonstrates a deeper understanding of business operations
- Works with subject matter experts and end users to tailor the system to fit the organizations needs
- Routinely performs analysis of workflows, data collection, and other technical issues associated with the use of the application software
- Is responsible for design, build, testing and maintaining those solutions
- Ensures standards of practice for existing and planned systems remain compatible within IT Infrastructure and other software applications
- Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards
- Supports and implements patient safety practices as appropriate
Skills
- Associate degree in a related field or 2 years equivalent work experience, bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of a degree
- 2 years of clinical, operational, or related application experience, or current related application certification
- Epic Certification Core Software application certification or proficiency required within 6 months of hire and within 3 attempts of testing, if applicable
- Ability to explain or demonstrate technology in a manner suited to the audience (i.e., business, clinical or technical staff)
- Ability to provide customer focused service and communicate the value of proposed solutions
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Previous experience in information technology and/or electronic health record software preferred
