Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CoreTrust is a group purchasing organization focused on charter and private schools. The Account Executive is responsible for retaining and growing contract revenue across an assigned portfolio, driving the full sales cycle while building trusted relationships with school leadership and decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Own a book of business, driving both retention and revenue growth across assigned members and prospects
- Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, in partnership with SDRs and marketing efforts
- Develop and execute account strategies to expand contract adoption and supplier engagement
- Lead the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution positioning, financial value articulation, and negotiation
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and maintain an accurate forecast
- Build relationships with school leaders and become a trusted advisor on cost savings and procurement efficiency
- Conduct regular account reviews to drive engagement, utilization, and long-term value
- Partner with Member Success and cross-functional teams to ensure strong onboarding and ongoing member experience
- Maintain accurate pipeline and account activity in Salesforce
- Represent BuyQ in member interactions, virtual meetings, and industry events as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- 3+ years of experience in a B2B sales role with demonstrated success in closing
- Strong ability to present value-based business cases to decision-makers
- Solid financial acumen, including ability to articulate cost savings and ROI
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop data-informed account strategies
- Experience managing a book of business (retention + expansion)
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience or interest in education, public sector, or multi-site organizations
