The Account Executive will be responsible for generating revenue by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to help them achieve their sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Regular client engagement in person, via phone and web meeting
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through in person, outbound contact
- Meet or exceed targets related to revenue quota, activities and retention metrics
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products and remain up to date on industry news and market challenges
- Utilize reporting systems, aggregated data and CRM tools to aid in tracking, qualifying and managing prospect base
- Ability to quickly identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/solutions and close sales opportunities, providing expertise to directly drive revenue
- Able to build rapport with key contacts at all levels within assigned territory and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within assigned business segment
- Adhere to all quality standards, company values and processes
- Provide regular feedback to leadership about the market and competitor activity
Skills
- Automotive industry-related sales experience required with 3+ years' selling product to dealerships strongly preferred
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Experience with Digital Marketing and leveraging data to help clients succeed
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactively seeks new business opportunities in the market
- Knowledgeable and comfortable with CRM systems and sales forecasting processes
- Ability to strategize with a large extended team
- Experience with sales of newly launched products
