They are seeking a driven 401(k) TPA Sales Executive to grow new business through advisor and employer relationships, focusing on selling value and managing the full sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and close new 401(k), profit sharing, and cash balance plan opportunities
- Build and maintain referral relationships with financial advisors, CPAs, and payroll providers
- Educate prospects on plan design strategies, compliance requirements, and fiduciary considerations
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through onboarding handoff
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting in CRM
- Collaborate with operations and consulting teams to ensure smooth client transitions
Skills
- 3+ years of sales experience in 401(k) TPAs, recordkeepers, advisory firms, or related retirement services
- Working knowledge of ERISA, nondiscrimination testing, and plan design concepts
- Proven ability to build referral-based business
- Self-starter with strong follow-up, organization, and closing skills
- Comfortable selling to business owners, advisors, and professional partners
