Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in the catheterization laboratory. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. Perform and assist with various diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab. Monitor and assess patients' condition before, during, and after procedures. Administer medications and maintain accurate records of patient care. Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and respond to changes in patients' conditions. Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the cath lab. Educate patients and their families about procedures, treatments, and post-procedure care. Stay up-to-date on current trends and advancements in cath lab nursing. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during procedures. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and procedures. Continuously assess and evaluate patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to improve care. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
