Job Description Summary Registered Dietitian (Remote – Full Time, PST Hours) Vera Whole Health Fully Remote | Must be able to work M–F, 9am–5pm PST Vera Whole Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nutrition care within our Nutrition Education and Weight Management programs. As a key member of our integrated care team, you’ll collaborate with primary care providers, health coaches, behavioral health clinicians, and care managers to help patients achieve sustainable behavior change and improved health outcomes. This role is ideal for an RD who thrives in a patient‑centered, whole‑person care model and enjoys providing meaningful, individualized support through telehealth. Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) 13 Paid Holidays Generous PTO Fully remote work environment Mission‑driven, collaborative culture focused on whole‑person care What You’ll Do Nutrition Education & Counseling Provide individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for weight management, cardiometabolic risk reduction, and lifestyle change Deliver nutrition education in 1:1 and group settings using motivational interviewing Create realistic, culturally sensitive nutrition prescriptions aligned with patient goals Weight Management Support Partner with care managers, health coaches, and providers within structured weight programs Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans Support patients using GLP‑1 and other weight‑loss medications with nutrition strategies Care Coordination & Documentation Collaborate with the care team to adjust plans based on progress Document encounters in Athena EHR accurately and promptly Link care plans to program‑specific health concerns Program & Quality Improvement Contribute to patient education materials and provider job aids Participate in team meetings, onboarding, and quality improvement initiatives Deliver external presentations as needed Patient Engagement Engage patients through telephonic, video, and portal outreach Provide accountability, encouragement, and ongoing support Qualifications Required Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field 2+ years of MNT experience in ambulatory or outpatient care Experience with weight management, cardiometabolic risk reduction, and lifestyle counseling Strong telehealth skills and comfort with virtual care EMR proficiency (Athena preferred) Google Workspace proficiency Preferred Master’s degree in nutrition or public health Experience in integrated primary care Group facilitation experience Familiarity with GLP‑1 therapy Integrative/functional nutrition experience Bilingual or multilingual Attributes We Value Exceptional communication and motivational interviewing skills Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset Highly organized and self‑directed Adaptable and solution‑focused Committed to improving patient outcomes and advancing Vera’s mission Compensation This position is bonus‑eligible based on individual and company performance. #MPMPG Compensation: $35.43 to $53.15 Beware of fraudulent job postings: While Mosaic Health job advertisements may be found on many sites, our current openings page and its associated Workday account are the only places we accept applications for open roles.
