Position Overview:
We’re looking for a highly motivated, quota-driven Regional VP of Sales with a strong background in programmatic media and ad tech sales into small and mid-sized agencies.
This is a true hunter role focused on building pipeline from scratch and closing net-new business. You’ll work directly with mid-market agencies and brands introducing a differentiated data solution that fits directly into their programmatic and audience activation strategies.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-velocity, mid-market environment—working directly with programmatic buyers and agency leadership to demonstrate how first-party data and cookieless solutions support their marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities of the Regional VP Sales - AdTech:
Identify, prospect, and close new business with independent and mid-sized advertising agencies, as well as brands and media companies
Execute high-volume outbound outreach targeting programmatic buyers and paid media teams, while building relationships with marketing leadership and decision-makers
Build relationships with agency executives (VP, C-level, owners) and key stakeholders across brands and media organizations to support deal progression
Navigate multi-threaded sales cycles by aligning day-to-day users (media teams, buyers) with economic decision-makers
Position fullthrottle.ai within the programmatic media and data activation ecosystem
Build and manage a robust pipeline of mid-market opportunities through consistent prospecting and networking
Own the full sales cycle—from outreach and discovery through negotiation and close
Educate prospects on cookieless targeting, first-party data, and audience solutions
Represent fullthrottle.ai at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Ideal Candidate Profile
5+ years of experience selling programmatic media, data, or ad tech solutions
Proven success selling into small to mid-sized advertising agencies, with additional experience working with brands or media companies as a plus
Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, audience targeting, data solutions)
Experience engaging both programmatic buyers and paid media teams and senior stakeholders (VP, C-level, owners)
Track record of success in a high-activity, hunter-style role with consistent quota attainment
Comfortable with high-volume prospecting and shorter sales cycles
Existing relationships with independent agencies, regional agency groups, or media buyers is a strong plus
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup or scale-up environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
