Summary Regional Sales Representative – Production Machining Software (Remote – North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware) Location: Remote – Must reside in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware) Position Overview We are seeking a driven and technically savvy Regional Sales Representative to expand our presence in the manufacturing sector across North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware. This role focuses on selling advanced production machining and manufacturing software solutions to machine shops, manufacturers, and industrial organizations. The ideal candidate has experience selling manufacturing technology, CAD/CAM software, CNC-related solutions, or production optimization tools and understands the operational challenges of modern machining environments. This is a remote field sales position responsible for building relationships, developing new business, and growing existing accounts within the assigned territory. Job Responsibilities Key Responsibilities • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities within the manufacturing and machining industries • Build relationships with machine shops, contract manufacturers, OEMs, and production facilities • Demonstrate the value of production machining software solutions that improve efficiency, automation, and shop-floor productivity • Conduct virtual and in-person product demonstrations • Work with technical teams to deliver tailored software solutions for customer workflows • Maintain an active sales pipeline and forecast opportunities • Attend regional manufacturing trade shows, industry events, and customer visits • Collaborate with marketing and leadership to expand regional market share • Manage and grow existing customer relationships and accounts Qualifications Qualifications Required • 3+ years of B2B sales experience • Experience selling to manufacturing, machining, or industrial customers • Strong understanding of CNC machining, production workflows, or manufacturing processes • Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close new business • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to travel within given territory (approximately 25–40%) Preferred • Experience selling CAD/CAM, machining software, production automation, or manufacturing technology • Background working with machine shops or CNC manufacturing environments • Familiarity with Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, or digital shop-floor tools • Technical aptitude to discuss manufacturing workflows and software solutions Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a self-motivated hunter who understands the manufacturing industry and enjoys helping machine shops improve productivity through technology.
